A massive amount of fireworks, electric tasers, and knives were intercepted by Israeli Police shortly after arriving from China to the Ashdod Port. The packed container was supposed to be transporting “X-Mas decorations”, but as can be seen in the attached video, the amount of knives, fireworks, and answers inside are simply shocking.
Police said they found 18,000 fireworks of the restricted 20mm variety, as well as 5,200 knives, 4,300 flashlights that can be modified into improvised Tasers, 5,500 Tasers, and 1,000 swords.
The container arrived last Tuesday, and three suspects trove the container to a warehouse in Afula. Upon arriving at the warehouse, police arrested the three individuals, along with the warehouse owner.
The contents were going to be taken to East Jerusalem, and used by Palestinians against Jews.

Guarantee you, you wont hear a word from the Kenyan on this one.
This is why it is vital to cooperate with customs authorities, and ensure that all import and export laws are followed. Remember, if you can get away wit it, so can they.
I say bring the whole shipment into Gaza and make one big Lag Ba’Omer hadlaka.
They should burn the whole lot of it.
Clearly, the fireworks were to be taken apart, and the gunpowder to be used in an explosive device. Why else? Israel should ban ALL fireworks to prevent this from EVER happening.
I can already predict the headlines on CNN and BBC:
“Israeli occupation forces steal swords from helpless palestinians” and “Settlers loot merchandise meant for East Jerusalem retail stores”
It’s obvious that Israel should take these for themselves and arm our guards.
Who wanted this brought in, and what can be done about them?
They’re obviously dangerous, and someone’s bound to be able
to sneak weapons in to them eventually…
(Didn’t the swords deserve to be in the headline?
Just LOOK at them!)
RE 9. (afr)
Actually, I think the fireworks themselves are used as weapons.
Re 9. (afr)
Actually, they did! 🙂
Well, for three months, anyway.
