Rav Mordechai [Tzemach ben Mazel Tov] Eliyahu’s Shlita condition reportedly has significantly improved and on Thursday night, the Rav was permitted to return to his home “for a period of time” accompanied by a nurse who has been responsible for his care for some time.
The former Chief Rabbi has been in and out of the hospital since Pesach, having sustained cardiac episodes and strokes, which also resulted in a number of surgical procedures.
The Rav has been admitted to Jerusalem’s Shaare Zedek Medical Center.
