Y’fei Nof Hotel in Arad Expresses Hakoras Hatov to Zaka

zaka2.gifLast week, Rav Menachem Gvirar, one of the owners of the Y’fei Nof Hotel in Arad turned to Zaka and explained they wish to host the Zaka team that operated in Mumbai, to permit them a Shabbos of rest and relaxation as a sign of gratitude for their mesirus nefesh.

On the Shabbos that the operated in Mumbai, the team reportedly did not eat and on motzei Shabbos, their dry Shabbos meals were brought to them.

The Zaka team and their families spent Shabbos together in the hotel, and on motzei Shabbos, Rav Chaim Mackler held a debriefing session intended to assist the team members to unload some of the horrors and return to their daily lives.

Chaim Weingarten, who headed the Zaka team in Mumbai acknowledged the generous act, stating he and his colleagues benefited greatly from the gesture, and the wives and children will remember the special “together Shabbos” for a long time, which also gives them the strength to continue their work.

The chesed shel emes they performed is truly incredible. May they never have to do something like that again…and may Hashem give them and their families tremendous brochos and zechuyos ad meah v’esrim.
