Terror victim Shalom Aaron ben Nava [Ba’adani] remains in critical condition in Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital in Yerushalayim. The 17-year-old terror victim was riding a bicycle when the vehicular terrorist ran him over on Route 1 in Jerusalem on Wednesday afternoon 12 Marcheshvan. The young victim sustained a massive head injury in the attack. He is a grandson of Rabbi Shimon Ba’adani Shlita, who is a member of the Shas Moetzas Gedolei Yisrael.
Among the visitors at his bedside today, Thursday, were Rishon L’Tzion Rabbi Shlomo Moshe Amar Shlita and Shas MK Eli Yishai.
Shalom’s father is Rabbi David Ba’adani Shlita, Rosh Kollel Be’er Yitzchak in the Sanhedria Murchevet neighborhood of Yerushalayim. Tefilos have been ongoing all day for a refuah shleima for Shalom and the other victims. Tefilos have also been taking place at the tziyun of Maran HaGaon HaRav Ovadia Yosef ZT”L.
Shas called for an atzeres tefilla at the Kosel on Thursday night. Rabbi Shimon Ba’adani instructed organizers to cancel it. The rav calls on the tzibur to be mispallel in their shuls in their communities, explaining “my grandson is no different than the other terror victims”.
