The sister of senior Hamas commander Moussa Abu Marzouk has been admitted in an Israeli hospital in the center of the country.
The 60-year-old Rafiach residents is suffering from cancer, reportedly in a later stage of the illness. She has been treated in Israel in the past. The arrangements for her hospitalization were cleared by IDF Coordinator of Activities in Yehuda & Shomron Major-General Yoav Mordechai together with other Gaza residents as a humanitarian aid gesture.
YWN-ISRAEL recently reported the father of IDF Sgt. Ohz Mendlowitz, who was killed in Operation Protective Edge, was pained and angered upon learning Israel treated Hamas Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh’s sister during the warfare. Ultimately the bereaved father agreed, admitting he is not vengeful, adding “I want to see Haniyeh stand up and thank the doctors at for saving his daughter’s life”.
