  1. Four more years of not-much accomplished! It’s enough already! I’m not for term limits at two terms but to boast 32 years at the post and not much to really show for it, nu-nu!

  2. Good. I don’t know the other guy much, but after reading what he said in TYW publication I said thank G-D he did not win. Attacking Dov for putting a molester/rapist in prison is a bad thing?

  3. Caller wasn’t promising anything besides for a dream!!!
The facts that he showed are not supported by reality.
Dov Hikind is a hero who showed and is showing results every single day, he is the only elect who is willing to and is in fact helping each and every person who calls up his office, there are 2 other elects who you will rarely hear of a person getting a favor from them as we hear about Dov.
Thanks G-D that the people understand what’s really good for them and made the right choice, I personally thank every single person who made this happen!!!

  4. We all owe Nachman Caller a big Yasher Koach. Thanks to CALLER, lazy Dov Hikind actually worked hard and now PROMISED to deliver lower yeshiva tuition in 2015 AND garbage trucks driving at night instead of the day. We will hold him to his PROMISES.

To bad for all the “mosdos.” Hikind’s margin of victory means that none of them really mattered and he doesn’t need to make them happy. Sorry Bobov, Belz & Satmar.

  5. The forgotten voters have spoken! I can’t wait to see how Kornblue will spin this one and put Caller, who waisted $700,000.00 of his own private money down the toilet, as a “winner” & Hikind who kept it civil, will be labeled the “loser”!

    Moderator’s Note: Whose Kornblue?

  6. #7 is 100% correct. Caller’s plan is a pipe dream. If there were large swaths of private land waiting to be developed you have “my vote”. But here we are talking about governmental agencies. Just look at the SBCO houses on 37th street. I gave in an application 25 years ago. In addition do really think people who live on dead end blocks will allow them to open their streets with out a fight. Third, I don’t really think the housing crises is a lack of apartments its a lack of affordable apartments. if a young couple has to move to a larger apartment where are they getting $2500-3000 a month plus a security deposit and nowadays a brokers fee, that’s over $7000 just to move. No wonder they move to other places where the grass IS greener.

  7. Shameful from the Republican party in NY for putting us through the wringer.
The good thing that came out of this is probably the turnout. The reason for the win.
    Nikorrim divrei Emes.
