VIDEO: Egyptian Minister Tells it Like He Sees It

v

Egypt is one of the Arab countries at peace with Israel yet in his reference to Israel, Minister of Religious Endowment Mokhtar Gomaa refers to Israel as “the colonialist Zionist force”.

While the secularists in Israel may not be motivated by an “effort to undermine the region” as claimed by Gomaa, sadly his statements of condemnation are true as he cited how Israel sponsors and supports atheism and finances a to’eva lifestyle and moral depravity.

The following video shows the al-Hyatt interview conducted with the minister in September. (English subtitles)

  1. Since the beginnings of the zionist movement, the zionists have seen themselves as the vanguard of imposing western secularism on the backwards and primitive Arabs. With this attitude there is no way the zionists can ever make peace. If at some point the hareidim return to leadership of the yishuv, a door will open. It is not unreasonable to ask the Arabs to share Eretz Yisrael, but it is unreasonable to expect them to accept that the dominant culture in the region will be “western” secularism (with all its many unmentionables we can’t discuss on YWN).

  2. I am confident that if the Israeli government leaves the chareidim alone, in twenty years they will take over the country. this is by demography alone.

  3. @akuperma. I really hope your kidding. You saying the fault is on the Israelis for imposing “western secularism” and all of it’s “unmentionables”. Please tell me your joking, because I really hope the ISIS. Iran, sudia arabia, Hezbollah, lifestyle doesn’t appeal to you more.

Look around western secularist civilization is the only one that works. Is it perfect? Of course not. Is it better then all the others – for sure! You have a problem that there’s freedom in this country to marry another gender or to publish untznius publications or what not? Well it’s that same freedom that gaurantees you the right to wear a yalmukah take off on Shabbos and yom tov, openly practice your frumkeit. Try doing that in a non western country.

  4. Being that this site is one of the few I allows kids on I’d appreciate if you won’t post things with twisted concepts and words that are not befitting for a torahdika site
