An Islamic woman who served in the IDF and describes herself as a “Zionist” is now setting her sights on entering the political arena, joining the Bayit Yehudi party. Speaking to Channel 10 News, Anat Haschiye says Bayit Yehudi represents her true voice and the voice of many other Arabs who feel as she does. She explains that her decision is not final but she is heading towards politics.
“I am an Israeli in every aspect and my children have served in the IDF. We are proud of the Homeland. However, we are still victims of discrimination as are my children…Therefore I want to join Bennett’s party to bring about a change for there is no other way.”
“Despite the fact my daughter served in the IDF and that they know who she is and who I am, they are discriminatory and this is the left-wing. They are the good friends of the Arab parties and they don’t want us here.”
“I was born here and live in a Jewish country and if I cannot get along with them with whom can I get along with? The Palestinians? This is my home”.

1. Any Arab who doesn’t want to live under an Islamic regime (i.e. a secular Muslim or a non-Muslim), will logically support Israel. Perhaps of Israeli Arabs can be assumed to be pro-Israel.
2. Bayit Yehudi has switched from being a “Religious zionist” party to a right-wing Israeli party, and as such can comfortably offer a home to non-Jews who support the a right-wing agenda (hawkish on foreign affairs, capitalistic, tolerant of Judaism as long as it doesn’t conflict with nationalism).
Wait, was his mother one of those in need of giyur? Something about a shiv tav and his un-sanctifying efforts should be put together; put I think his head’s stuck there already. People should watch their backs around this guy, he seems to sneak into a party, pretend to be everyone’s friend and cause a gas leak in the foundation.
