3:35PM EST: The Scottsdale police bomb squad has been called to investigate a “suspicious item” at a Jewish center.

The item, which police did not identify, was found at the Chabad Learning Center, near Scottsdale Road and Shea Boulevard.

Sgt. Mark Clark said the businesses were evacuated and police are waiting for a bomb squad to arrive and investigate the item.

The Chabad-Lubavitch Center in Mumbai was the target of militant attacks there last week and five hostages were killed.
