Jewish Agency Chairman Ze’ev Bielski announced that all Jewish victims of the Mumbai attack will receive assistance, including Mexican citizen Norma Shvarzblat Rabinovitch, one of the Chabad House victims.

YWN reported that she planned to move to Eretz Yisrael this week, but the attack brought an end to her plans.

As is regularly the case, Bituach Leumi however will only provide assistance for Israeli citizens. Therefore, the family of Mrs. Rabinovitch will not be entitled to assistance from this government agency.
