As preparations for yomtov were in full swing, a cook at Toldos Aharon in Meah Shearim fell into a very large pot of soup. The avreich is listed in moderate condition as a result of the incident.
The bizarre incident occurred during the night of Hoshana Raba as the cook fell into the pot of boiling soup. The cook is an avreich, a member of the chassidus. Ichud Hatzalah and Magen David Adom responded. The avreich was transported to Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital in a MDA paramedic ambulance.
The tzibur is asked to be mispallel for Aharon ben Miriam bsoch cholei Am Yisrael.

Refuah shlaima. Injuries from kitchen accidents can be pretty bad.
The size of some commercial kitchen equipment really has to be seen to appreciate how large they can be. I was on a kibbutz in the 70s which had floor-mounted pots heated by steam that one tilted over to empty (not designed to be sit on a stove top.)
It’s not hard to imagine people in a hurry to get things done bumping into one another, slipping or carrying too much to retain one’s balance resulting in accidents like this, lo aleinu.
