Meir Porush has announced a decision, opting to return to Knesset following his loss in the Jerusalem mayoral race.
According to various chareidi sources, UTJ members of the Jerusalem team are well-aware their life under Mayor-elect Nir Barkat may not be a picnic, and the chareidim are unlikely to take control of any major portfolio.
That said, Porush is signaling that he intends to return to Knesset, opting to remove himself from the negotiations surrounding the formation of the new Jerusalem City Council.

Truth is that when he still thought they may get something from Barkat, he insisted on leading the negotiations and threw Litzman out (even though Litzman has a much better chance of achieving good results from Barkat as he publicly supported him in the elections). Now that he ruined the negotiations he is running away back to Knesset and leaving us to suffer the price of his honor and mistakes. This is from someone who claimed to be a lover of Yerushalayim!!!!
thank you TH why couldn’t he follow ravitzs lead?

I’m sure you got what you wanted anyway….BARKAT.
Don’t blame Porush for your miseries over the next couple of years
