The media in Holland reports that in Hag, city officials oppose giving permits to Jews requesting to build a sukka in public streets fearing a violent response from the Muslim community. The report is under investigation. City officials signal it appears the directive is from local police, not from City Hall. Local police declined comment.
There are reports of Jews who applied for a permit to erect a sukka and that request was declined with an explanation building a sukka might inflame the Muslim community.

One Response
It concerns one Sukka which an individual wants to build in the street in front of his house. This individual is banned from entering both the frum shul as the Reform temple in The Hague (not Hag), as he has repeatedly antagonized the local Muslim community.
