NJ: Suspicious Item Forces Closure Of Major Portion Of Interstate 287

Police have closed Interstate 287 in both directions in northern New Jersey while the State Police Arson and Bomb Squad investigates a suspicious item.

The closing is taking place in Boonton.

State Police say there are major traffic delays.

No other information is available.
