The Vaad for the Release of Gilad Shalit released a statement on Monday night asking if Prime Minister Ehud Olmert is the leader of the State of Israel or the PA (Palestinian Authority).
The angry statement followed the latest announcement of yet another Olmert-approved ‘good-will prisoner release to the PA,” the release of 250 terrorists for next month’s Feast of the Sacrifice.
“To date, over 1,000 prisoners have been released by Olmert, receiving absolutely nothing in return – as if there is no IDF soldier being held captive in Gaza for over 2.5 years. This is another example of the weakness of the prime minister and the government, which continue to seek to flatter the PA without any demands regarding Gilad Shalit.”
Tuesday is Gilad Shalit’s 878th day in Hamas captivity.
