Two months after Operation Protective Edge, Adiel Levy, who was critically wounded in the warfare, celebrated his 21st birthday in Tel Hashomer Hospital.
Adiel thanked everyone who came to celebrate with him, explaining he feels that he was reborn as a result of his injuries. His mother Anat added “We are at his bedside day and night. We simply hope he heals.” His dad added “Each day that passes is difficult but he must continue fighting.”
Adiel, who lives in Kiryat Ata, sustained third degree burns over 60% of his body during fighting in southern Gaza. He is one of the wounded that remains hospitalized today, being treated in a burn unit.
