Right-Wingers Protest Arrest at Rabin Memorial Event


Seven people who identify with the political right-wing are filing an official complaint against police following their arrests at the motzei Shabbos Rabin memorial rally at Rabin Square in Tel Aviv.

The seven are affiliated with the “If you Will It” organization, explaining they decided to attend the rally to protest the incitement of the left-wing, especially the Peace Now organization. They were arrested and questioned for hours, charged with disturbing the peace and possible incitement.

The seven reported they were subject to police brutality but police state this was not the case, denying the use of unjustifiable force.
