Minister of Agriculture (Yisrael Beitenu) Yair Shamir leveled harsh criticism against the residents of Kibbutz Nachal Ohz, one of the Gaza border communities hit hard during Operation Protective Edge. During a ceremony to toast the New Year, the minister stated “We will not forgive or forget Nachal Ohz’s support for the expulsion but we will nevertheless assist them”.
Shamir explained that while his current responsibilities include assisting the Gaza border communities he felt compelled to express his feelings regarding the left-wing kibbutz’s willingness to oust the close to 10,000 Jews from Gaza, a move that have proven to be a colossal security nightmare for Israel, particularly Nachal Ohz and other Gaza border communities.

Apparently it is unforgivable to disagree with Mr. Shamir. Typical Israeli politician.
UJM – that is lashon harah on Israeli politicians.
Besides, Nachal Oz’s support for the disengagement was a political example at the time when those on the upcoming frontlines were begging for consideration.
Today Nachal Oz are begging for security and shocked at what they received.
Yes, it seems that everyone involved with the Gush Katif expulsion has suffered greatly, the police heads, the army heads, the government heads, and now those ‘neighbors’ who were so inhospitable.
Almost prophetic, and certainly eerie, the undercover payback to those who aided the expulsion…
