According to the Associated Press, police have detained three neo-Nazis who had allegedly attacked a Jewish man in Prague.
Police told the AP that the three suspects in custody had allegedly kicked the 52-year-old man and hit him with a cobblestone in Prague’s historic Jewish quarter late Tuesday.
The three suspects – aged 21, 23, and 23 – were detained shortly after the incident and have not been charged yet.
If they are tried and convicted of racism, hooliganism and causing bodily harm, they be imprisoned for five years.
The Federation of Jewish Communities in the Czech Republic, says the victim is man of German origin who lives in Prague.
