The Brooklyn community is pleased to present a Rosh Hashana event, featuring renowned speaker Rabbi Jonathon Rietti.   The program, titled “Teshuva Starts in The Mind: Check up from the Neck Up” will take place Tuesday, September 16th at 8:45PM, at Sasson V’Simcha.  This presentation looks at how far reaching are the Mitzvos in the Torah relevant to taking responsibility for our attitude.  Rabbi Rietti explains: “This reveals how much Hashem wants us to take control of our thoughts which in turn lead to the control of our emotions. The Mitzva of Teshuva plays a massive role in how we ‘change’ our minds and engage our bechira to make better choices. Thus the name of the talk, ‘Check Up From The Neck Up!’”

Rabbi Rietti, born in London, England, is an engaging, and transformative  speaker. He provides lectures of great depth,  exploring fundamentals of faith and showing how to  integrate these into daily life. His unique style entertains the listener while sharing powerful insights on love, happiness, and emotional intelligence. Direct descendant of the Ben Ish Chai, and son of famous British actor Robert Rietti, Rabbi Rietti is a senior lecturer for the popular Gateways Seminars and presently directs a teacher training program in Brooklyn under Rabbi Moshe Wolfson’s Mishkan Yecheskel.

This event was put together by members of the Brooklyn community who were very concerned about families in our midst faced by severe challenges.  In addition to the lecture there will be a Chinese auction.  All proceeds will be for this cause.
