Arabs on Tuesday afternoon 14 Elul began a third consecutive day of violence and law-breaking in the Shuafat area of the capital. In the first round of violence Arabs attacked police with stones. Police responded with crowd-dispersing adjuncts. B’chasdei Hashem there were no injuries among police.
In the morning and earlier afternoon hours there were rock-throwing attacks against the Jerusalem light rail in that area. There were no injuries but there was damage to train cars.
