Tagrir Sa’adi, who was running for a slot on the Sachknin City Council (reported HERE on YWN), withdrew her candidacy following an appeal to the Supreme Court by the Movement for Quality Government.

Sa’adi was tried and convicted for her terrorist activities and served a six-year prison term.
