A ceremony will take place on Thursday 9 Elul in Yerushalayim to bestow semicha on 400 new rabbonim.
The rabbonim will receive semicha from the Chief Rabbinate of Israel in the presence of Chief Rabbi David Lau Shlita, Rishon L’Tzion Rabbi Yitzchak Yosef Shlita and Deputy Minister of Religious Services Rabbi Eliyahu Ben-Dahan. The event will begin in the Yeshurun Shul at 13:30.
