The Movement for Quality Government on Sunday is calling on the Supreme Court to disqualify Tagrir Sa’adi, who is running in the Sachknin municipal elections.
Sa’adi was convicted for her part in the terror attack at Jerusalem’s Machane Yehuda marketplace in 2002, in which six people were murdered. She also was tied to assisting terrorists and foreign agents and served a six-year prison term, which she completed about a year ago.
She is now running on the Hadash Party list in Sachknin, hoping to earn a seat on the city council.
