B’chasdei Hashem, doctors are reporting a significant improvement in the condition of Golani Egoz soldier Ohad Ben-Yishai, who remains in Soroka Medical Center in Beersheva. Ben-Yishai was critically wounded in the Gaza fighting with a head injury a month ago. He has remained in a medically induced coma for a long time.
On Sunday, 28 Menachem Av, he was transferred to Tel Hashomer Hospital where he will continue the next stage of his rehabilitation. B”H he is breathing unassisted and is responding to his surroundings.
His mother Erika explains “While he has a long road to recovery ahead, I have no doubt his initial medical care saved his life and made it possible to rehabilitate him”.
