President Barack Obama says the United States will continue to confront Islamic State extremists despite the brutal murder of journalist James Foley.
Obama says the entire world is “appalled” by Foley’s killing. The president says he spoke Wednesday with Foley’s family and offered condolences.
Obama says the Islamic State abducts women and children, and tortures, rapes, enslaves and kills people. He said the Islamic State targets Christians and other minorities and aims to commit genocide.
Obama spoke Wednesday from Martha’s Vineyard in Massachusetts, where he’s vacationing with his family, a day after the militants released a video showing the American journalist being beheaded.

I don’t think he mentioned that what they did was an act of terrorism against the United States.
I guess that he wasn’t Jewish, otherwise our fearless leader would not have acknowledged his death the same way that he didn’t say anything about the US citizen that was kidnapped and killed by Hamas.
It seems our President has an extreme case of myopia.
Some top Ophthalmologists should be called in to help him, in turn this may help save our country, Israel and the rest of the free world. The President sees the tragedy in the death of an American journalist, but doesn’t seem to equate/compare it to the deaths of the three teens in Israel. Journalists are known to be at risk in foreign countries; part of the trade risks. But what about young teen students??? One of whom was also an American. Is their murder not even more unconscionable? Why doesn’t Mr. Obama see this?? react appropriately?? Why are Isis terrorists considered worse than Hamas? Our President seems not to see the equation. Are We allowed/supposed to say Tehillim for him?
He spoke with so much Empathy, but it was reported that he went straight from the podium to the Golf Course!
