Thirty-five people, motorists and pedestrians, lost their lives in traffic accidents around Eretz Yisrael in the month of October 2008. Tens of others sustained serious injuries and others permanent disabilities.
From January 1, 2008 through the end of October, 377 people were killed on the roads of Eretz Yisrael.
