10:15AM EST: (UPDATE & PHOTOS BELOW) Boro Park Hatzolah are on the scene of an overturned van at 11th Avenue and 47th Street. There are numerous people reported to be trapped in the vehicle, and NYPD ESU along with FDNY Rescue have been requested to expedite their response. Arriving units have requested multiple paramedic units to respond due to multiple victims reportedly unconscious.
There are a total of six vehicles involved in this serious MVA.

UPDATE 11:30AM EST: Three patients have been transported to Lutheran Trauma Center (3 by Hatzolah, and 1 by FDNY). All patients are listed in stable condition, Boruch Hashem. Sources tell YWN that the van apparently lost control, crashing into numerous vehicles – three of them parked.

Does anyone know how this accident happened ? … Were there any other vehicles involved ? … was there a tire failure on the van ? … anyone know the make and year ? … My 10 year old granddaughter was killed in a 15-passenger van, single vehicle rollover accident in 2007.
