A committee representing residents of Shomron is planning to file a lawsuit against National Infrastructure Minister (Labor) Binyamin Ben-Eliezer and Vice Prime Minister (Kadima) Chaim Ramon, who in recent days referred to resident of Yehuda and Shomron as “extremists” and accuse some of them of planning the next political assassination. The suit accuses the two of libel and incitement.
Attorney Moshe Glick is representing the group, led by Benny Katzover and Moshe Dayan. A letter was also sent to State Attorney General Menachem Mazuz, calling upon him to halt the incitement campaign against Yosh residents before someone takes the law into their own hands and targets one of them, sparked and inflamed by the statements of the ministers and their supporters.
