The Ministerial Legislative Committee on Sunday decided to ban protests and demonstrations outside the homes of public officials and senior security agency offices and directors.

The committee decided to accept the recommendation of the Public Security Ministry, seeking to prevent future protests at the homes of officials. In some cases, if such a protest is permitted, a police official of the level of district commander would set the terms of the event, the use of audio systems and other adjuncts and the number of participants as well as defining other terms of the permit.
