At the behest of Gedolei Yisroel, the summer zman was extended for a number of days following Tisha B’Av due to the current situation in Eretz Yisroel. Even bachurim that had bein scheduled to leave right at the start of bein hazemanim stayed to shteig in the beis medrash.
