Police believe the motive behind the stabbing of a security guard at the entrance to Maale Adumim is a terror attack. The wounded man, in his 60s, is reported in moderate condition. He was transported to Hadassah Mount Scopus Hospital in Yerushalayim.

Police are continuing to search for the attacker in nearby Azariya. No suspects are in custody at this time.

On Monday, 8 Menachem Av, there were two terror attack in the capital, one near Kikar Zvill in which an avreich was killed and a number of people were lightly injured. The second attack, less than three hours later, took place near the tunnel in proximity to Wadi Joz. An IDF soldier was shot in that attack. He remains in serious/stable condition.

14:54: A suspect in the stabbing attack is in police custody. Police arrested Rami el-Masalma from Kfar Azariya.

15:24: Three suspects have been taken into custody in connection to the stabbing attack.
