A 30-year-old man reported during the night that rocks were hurled at his vehicle while driving on Route 65 northbound near Kfar Kara in the Nachal I’ron area, referred to in the media more commonly as Wadi Ara. His windshield was blown out as a result. B”H no one was injured. Police are investigating. No arrests are reported at this time.

In a related matter, a motorist traveling on Route 2 (Tel Aviv –Haifa) was attacked with rocks on Monday morning Rosh Chodesh Menachem Av near the Israeli Arab community of Jiser A’zarka. The female motorist sustained light injuries. Police are looking for the suspects.

A number of other vehicles and a tourist bus were also hit by rocks at that location.
