Three of the six suspects arrested in the murder of 16-year-old Muhmad Abu-Khalid are being released by police. The three will be placed under house arrest for seven days as it appears they had no direct involvement in the brutal murder. The decision to release them to house arrest came on Wednesday, 11 Tammuz by the Petach Tikvah Magistrate Court.
Still in custody is a 30-year-old male who drove the car used to abduct the victim, as well as two 16-year-olds who police believe played an active role in the murder.
Honenu attorney Adi Kedar welcomes the release, quickly adding harsh criticism over the fact they were held by police and the ISA (Israel Security Agency – Shin Bet) and not permitted to meet with him or any other attorney.

So sad that a young boy was so brutally murdered. Even sadder that the commentators below are so crass. Why are their comments not deleted?
