UNIFIL (United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon) forces stationed in the northern border village of Rajar are awaiting the word from Premier-designate and Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni to withdraw from the village, which is split between Lebanon and Israel.
According to UNIFIL sources, they are led to understand that once Livni forms her new government, Israeli forces will be ordered to leave the village, which will permit the international force to leave as well.
Lebanese sources have indicated an Israeli withdrawal from the village will take place by Nov. 5th.
