Despite the discovery of the bodies of Gilad Shaar, Naftali Frenkel and Eyal Yifrach HY”D, the IDF is continuing the manhunt for the Hamas terrorists who murdered them, Marwan Kawasmeh and Imad Abu-Eisha.

Soldiers operating in Yehuda and Shomron continue arresting suspected terrorists, albeit fewer than prior to the discovery of the bodies. In addition, a number of additional Hamas facilities have been shut down. According to reports, since the start of Operation Brothers Return, 463 terrorists have been taken into custody.

As the manhunt continues, PA (Palestinian Authority) officials in Ramallah are continuing efforts to persuade the European Union and the United States to pressure Israel towards preventing a major military response. PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas’ (Abu Mazen) spokesman, Nabil Abu Rudeina reports the PA leader is conducting marathon meetings since the beginning of the week. The PA will reapply to international organizations in response to continued Israeli sanctions against the PA.
