Police are searching for the driver of a stolen minivan they say hopped a curb in Brooklyn, striking three people who were walking on the sidewalk.
Police say the three pedestrians were rushed to Kings County Hospital following the 4:45 p.m. accident Wednesday afternoon, which happened at Flatlands Ave & E 41 St. One of them died a short time later.
Police say the Dodge Caravan had been reported stolen Friday in another part of Brooklyn. They say a preliminary investigation shows the driver lost control and jumped the curb.
The driver fled the scene on foot and hasn’t been found.

My condolences to the family.
I see Deblasio’s 25 mile an hour speed limit is truly saving lives. It has nothing to do with people driving like maniacs. Way to go Deblasio/Bratton!
