On Friday June 27, 2014, at about 1:00 AM, Sullivan County Sheriff’s Deputies went to 178 Gregory Rd. in the Town of Thompson to arrest Alicia Grabowski, age 24, as a fugitive from justice.
Grabowski was wanted by the Passaic County N.J. Sheriff’s Office for passing counterfiet currency and a probation violation. At the residence, the suspect’s mother, kept the deputies distracted while her daughter slipped out a back window. Alicia Grabowski was caught a short distance down the road and taken into custody. In addition to the fugitive warrant she was charged with crminal possession of a controlled substance and resisting arrest. She was sent to the Sullivan County Jail without bail. The mother, Krystyna Grabowski, 49, was charged with obstructing governmental administration. She was issued an appearance ticket and released pending a future court date..
