Inspectors report that since the beginning of Operation Brothers Return about two weeks ago, the number of smuggled eggs from PA (Palestinian Authority) areas that have been intercepted before being brought to the Israeli marketplace has increased 90 fold!

This refers to eggs that have no veterinary supervision or approval, at times unfit for human consumption due to improper storage in the hot weather, that are smuggled from PA areas into Israel. At times the eggs even have forged stamps of approval so consumers cannot determine if they are legitimate or not.

The startling revelation is an indicator of just how many of these eggs get into Green Line Israel under the radar throughout the year.

A great deal of the success is attributed to the sharp increase in the number of PA vehicle being inspected by Israeli forces as part of the ongoing operation to locate the captive youths who were abducted by Hamas terrorists from Alon Shvut Junction on Thursday night, the eve of 15 Shevat 5774.
