Israel Continues Bringing Premier Medical Care to PA Residents

surgIsrael is promoting its “Save a Child’s Heart” campaign, one of numerous programs intended to provide premier medical care to PA (Palestinian Authority) residents, in this case, children.

As Israeli soldiers continue with Operation Brothers Return in Yehuda and Shomron following the abduction of the three bnei yeshiva, Israeli doctors of Save a Child’s Heart (SACH) save the lives of PA (Palestinian Authority) children at the Wolfson Medical Center in Holon.

Since the beginning of Operation Brother’s Keeper, three Arab children have undergone life-saving heart surgery at Wolfson; eight Palestinian children were admitted, including two urgent cases brought by ambulances from PA areas. Fifteen children are expected to arrive this week to the SACH free weekly cardiology clinic for Palestinian children.

Officials report the Israeli medical team of SACH is determined to continue with their activity without letting the situation around interfere or influence them. “Children are children”‘ says Dr. Lior Sasson, SACH chief surgeon, “for us it doesn’t matter where the children come from, every child deserves to receive the best medical treatment and children from both sides, shouldn’t be a part of the conflict”.

Before entering the operating room on Tuesday morning 16 Sivan Dr. Sasson said ” We are continuing with our work, this is what distinguishes us as Israelis, the ability to ignore what is happening around and continue with our sacred work of saving children’s lives”.

  1. Really and if amalek needs medical care do u think. Jews who “dont havemony foe torah parasites” shud. Be moser nefesh to save these future terrorists? Is that what the torah says
Or is it the lib feel good way of doing things? Havent we learned the whatever u do for the pals is always too little too late and. Will not change their attitude towards the jews

  2. It is very wise of the zionists to build good relations with our neighbors. It seems to be working. Even some Arab leaders have sent family members to Israeli hospitals. Establishing a good reputation for Israeli health care services is good politically, and economically. In the short run it defuses tensions caused by Israeli occupation of most of the Palestinian territories (e.g. settlements such as Tel Aviv, among others), and in the long run any economic cooperation lays a basis for possible peace.
