The response to the call of gedolei yisrael shlita was evident in many yeshivos and kollelim throughout Eretz Yisrael on erev Shabbos Parshas Shelach, 5774. An hour before Shabbos many batei medrashim were full with avreichim, talmidim and avos u’banim. Young and old it did not matter but there was limud in the zechus of the captives who have been in Hamas captivity for over a week.
Cars with loudspeakers mounted on their roofs made the rounds in frum areas on Friday morning, calling on the tzibur to adhere to the call to gedolei yisrael and attend one of the learning sessions before Shabbos. In some venues, the limud was followed by words of hisorarus and chizuk by rabbonim, reminding the tzibur that HaGaon HaRav Chaim Kanievsky Shlita called for limud of hilchos shmitah ahead of the upcoming shmitah year, 5775. Rav Kanievsky called on women to accept Shabbos early, which many women reportedly did, once again in the zechus of the captives.

Sometimes the name is being written Teshura while other times it is appearing as Teshura. On a picture of a hand written note the name was צ’ואה (Tchuah). Can anyone confirm the correct name?
