Israel Police on Thursday will be questioning Prime Minister Ehud Olmert for an eighth time regarding the various investigations going on against him.
The two-to-three hour session will be the first since police made a recommendation to State Attorney General Menachem Mazuz to file a criminal indictment against him.
Olmert has submitted his resignation as promised following the Kadima Party primary election but for the time being, he remains in office as his successor, Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni, works to assemble a coalition government. It is expected that when Livni presents her coalition to President Shimon Peres, Olmert will step down.
