A woman in her sixties was R”L killed after she was struck by a car, while she was walking on Queen Mary road Tuesday night.

The accident happened near Westbury in the Cote-des-Neiges area.

Police collision reconstruction experts are investigating.

“The suspect vehicle hit the woman who was on the side of the road,” said Montreal police Cst. Raphael Bergeron. “The suspect’s vehicle stopped, the driver came out of the vehicle but went quickly behind the wheel and left the scene of the accident.”

Hatzolah was dispatched to the scene, but was tragically pronounced dead by doctors in the hospital.

Her name was not available at this time.

Police don’t have a description of the vehicle or the driver.

Police have asked for all the surveillance video from neighborhood stores and businesses to try to identify the driver and the car. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 514-393-1133.
