*Hamas responds to Israel’s willing to release some of the terrorists on the list stating they will not exhibit any flexibility in the deal towards Gilad Shalit’s release.

*A powerful car bomb blast in Syria on Saturday resulted in the US closing consular services in the embassy. There were no American deaths or injuries reported.

*A bus and a MDA paramedic ambulance collided in a Shabbos vehicular accident in Jerusalem. A physician and paramedic were lightly injured. A third person was seriously injured. They were transported to Shaare Zedek Medical Center and Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital.

*No injuries were reported in a firebomb attack on the Hussan Bypass Road near Betar Illit.

*Two Jews were attacked by Arabs near the Ma’aras HaMachpelah. One was lightly injured and transported to a hospital.

*Hamas rejects categorizing its “resistance” as “terrorism”, calling the Quartet “pro-Israel”. The Quartet is composed of the United States, United Nations, European Union and Russia.
