8:33PM EST: President Bush has invited presidential candidates John McCain and Barack Obama along with the leadership of Congress to the White House on Thursday in hopes of securing a deal on a financial bailout. White House press secretary Dana Perino said Bush called Obama on Wednesday night to extend the invitation.
