BROOKLYN: Special Election Set for May 20 to Fill 22nd Senate District Seat


A special election will be held on May 20 to replace State Senator Simcha Felder, who resigned after winning a City Council seat. Sam Sutton, co-leader of the Sephardic Community Federation, will run as the Democratic nominee, while longtime Republican district leader Carl (Nachman) Caller will represent the GOP. The race will determine South Brooklyn’s next State Senator.
