In accordance with the Dorner Commission’s recommendations, over 40,000 Holocaust survivors around the country will receive payment from the government, with most receiving a NIS 600 a month increase.

In addition, they will be receiving a one time payment of NIS thousands of shekels, to be deposited in their bank accounts before Rosh Hashanah.
