Police have found the man who they say crashed a Lamborghini and left it burning near the George Washington Bridge in New Jersey.
Port Authority Police spokesman Joe Pentangelo says 33-year-old Deankarte Ditchfield-Agboh, of Palisades Park, was charged Tuesday with abandonment of a vehicle and leaving the scene of a motor vehicle accident.
It wasn’t immediately clear if he had an attorney.
Pentangelo says that Ditchfield-Agboh owns the Lamborghini Diablo that was found on fire and unoccupied in the westbound lanes near the bridge toll plaza in Fort Lee early Monday.
The vehicle showed signs of a crash and sustained extensive fire damage.
Lamborghini Diablos were made by the Italian sports car company from 1990 to 2001. They are typically valued at $150,000 to $200,000.
