*DM Barak continues calling for the formation of an emergency caretaker government.

*Opposition leader Binyamin Netanyahu and other opposition parties are calling for new elections.

*Pensioner’s Party leader Minister Effie Eitam supports Tzipi Livni to establish a new coalition.

*4-year-old Rose Pizem, who was murdered by her mother and grandfather and dumped in the Yarkon River, was laid to rest in France on Monday.

*PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas (Abu Mazen) announced on Monday that changes in the American and Israeli administrations may result in delays in an agreement between Israel and the PA.

*Arab parties did not recommend Tzipi Livni be tapped to form the next coalition in meeting with President Peres.

*UTJ did not recommend to President Peres that he select FM Livni to establish a new coalition.
