A local law strengthening parking restrictions on dozens of roads in the Town of Fallsburg and creating stiffer fines will be the subject of a public hearing Monday.

Roads with new parking restrictions include: Budd and Michigan roads in Woodbourne; Route 104 in Loch Sheldrake; Clairmont, East Pond, Lake House and Rosemond roads in Woodridge; Brophy Road and Route 104 in Hurleyville; and Laurel Park Road and Laurel Avenue in Fallsburg.

Fines would double to $100 under the proposed law. The hearing is set for 5:40 p.m. in Town Hall, 19 Railroad Ave. in South Fallsburg.
